A rental or lease agreement is between a landlord that rents property to a tenant for monthly payment. After both the landlord and tenant sign the agreement, it becomes legally binding until the end date. The tenant is commonly required to pay the security deposit (if any) and 1st month’s rent prior to occupancy.
